Gerson Relocation are working with CLIC Sargent to #givesomethingback this Christmas.
This Christmas Gerson Relocation are unable to support CLIC Sargent in our usual way!
Our annual #givesomethingback campaign, which has been so generously supported year on year, would usually see everyone filling rucksacks full of toys for children in hospital at Christmas.
However, this year we are not allowed to collect and deliver these toy filled sacks, but our support is more vital than ever…
For this reason, Gerson Relocation have set up a just giving page to provide much needed funds at Christmas to help those in need. When cancer strikes young lives CLIC Sargent helps families limit the damage it causes beyond their health. We provide specialist support from day one, to help and guide each young cancer patient and their family through their treatment.

Since the beginning of March 2020 CLIC Sargent has seen a 43% drop in income, as they are funded solely by public donations the cancellation of fundraising events has hit hard. At the same time, demand for front line social workers, counsellors and crisis support has grown exponentially. As Covid-19 continues to overwhelm hospitals across the country, cancer diagnostics and treatments are being delayed, and CLIC Sargent teams are starting to see a significant increase in the number of palliative patients as a result. CLIC Sargent have restructured as a charity to focus on front line service delivery, but are still in dire need of financial support to ensure they continue to be there for families when they need them most.
This year has been extremely difficult and challenging for everyone and Christmas will look and feel very different for us all. If you are kindly able to help out with a donation the money will go directly to CLIC Sargent. It will help and go towards the cost of social workers that are there for the whole family from the initial diagnosis, help fund a family’s stay in a CLIC Sargent ‘Home from Home’ which are close to their child in hospital or for a CLIC Sargent Nurse to provide care and support at home so that families can avoid travelling to the hospital.
Thanks you to everyone who has previously supported Gerson Relocation’s annual #givesomethingback campaign, your donations and gifts of toys have made a huge positive difference to so many children at Christmas.
If we are able to support in a different way this year, the children and team at CLIC Sargent would be truly grateful.
Anything you, your team or organisation can spare for this charity would be greatly received.
