What is export packing?
Export packing is different to the type of packing you would use for a local move. It involves specialist packing materials and a different packing technique that offer the additional protection required to protect items from the unique and varied stresses that they will encounter throughout the additional handling and transportation aspects associated with an international move.
Experienced and trained international moving packing crews
We provide experienced packing professionals who wrap and pack your items in the home. They will be led by a crew leader who will ensure that the packing of your home, or delivery, goes exactly to plan. Our international packing crews are trained in the art of export packing. Our company has its own packing training school where staff learn how items are packed to provide the best protection.
Sustainable and high-quality specialist packing materials
We use natural packing materials from sustainable sources. We are removing single use plastics from our supply chain in favour of natural materials and reusable and recyclable materials. The export wrap we use has more plies than the standard materials used and so are our boxes which offers more protection. We also have special cartons for items such as paintings, lampshades, golf bags, bikes, hanging wardrobe cartons for gowns and lots more. Acid free tissue for metallic items and corner protectors for delicate items.
Custom crates for high value and s specialist items
For sculptures, flat art or even motorbikes, our carpenter makes the crates for items that require specialist protection. We also have specialist lifting equipment for heavy items in hard to reach locations.
Items such as chandeliers, hi-fi equipment, wine collections, clock mechanisms and meteorological or scientific equipment all require specialist attention and we provide this with our packing service.
