Managing a global mobility programme involves coordinating multiple providers across multiple locations. We provide you with a single point of contact and control for the management of your entire relocation programme.
We work as an extension of your Global Mobility team to coordinate all aspects of a relocation including immigration, relocation, moving and expense processing for global, local and regional programmes as well as individual projects.
Flexibility and designed around you
Our approach to programme management provides a single hub for coordination and management of relocation services. You can then add additional service packages and regions as you require.
We will work with you to design a programme with the correct mix of relocation packages based on the needs of you and your relocating employees. We will then provide the experienced team, communications, processes, technology, reporting, global network and implement everything to ensure that everything works together to provide a seamless solution.
Briefings and service coordination
Each case authorisation we receive will be allocated to one of our experienced Relocation Managers. They will conduct the initial briefing call with your relocating employee and will guide and support them throughout their international move. Everything managed to your defined policies and designed to ensure an exceptional assignee relocation experience.
We can provide support to your team by offering access to our network of independent global mobility advisors. They offer assistance with policies, assignment budgets and assignment letters. Working with our independent advisors we support your relocating employees with pre-assignment visits, spousal/partner counselling, arranging for cultural and language training. Our Relocation Manager will conduct the needs assessment and ensure that they are fully prepared.
We synchronise the relocation and immigration process. Coordinating with approved immigration partners, we help your employees obtain work permits and visas on a global basis, contact any relevant authorities and ensuring any paperwork is correct and accounted for, both for your assignees and any relocating family members.
DSP and Destination services
Gerson Relocation provide complete range of relocation DSP services for in-house mobility teams looking to relocate their personnel around the world. Our relocation solution provides access to a global network of rigorously selected DSP and destination service providers in every location. For each location we have two or more approved partners who we have assessed and manage.
Our services at destination cover everything, including; arranging orientation tours, using our local real estate connections, meeting at the airport, arranging temporary living, conducting accompanied home search visits, finding a new home, negotiating the lease, searching for schools in the new area, as well as supporting the family whilst acclimatising.
The international move process
Once the home is secured, we coordinate the move process, organising the survey, packing, insurance, shipping (air, sea, road), storage, customs clearance and delivery. As part of the move we can arrange for temporary housing and serviced accommodation while your relocating employee’s household goods are in transit. We organise everything as part of the full relocation experience to ensure everything arrives for your employee to move into their new home and be ready to start their new role.
Settling-in and on-assignment support
We arrange for welcoming your employee, utility connections, the property check-in and provide settling-in support for your relocating employee and accompanying dependents.
Whilst on assignment our local service experts are available on the ground, along with property management and tenancy management support options available
By selecting our expense management option enables you to outsource the management of all your relocation and assignment expenses. We can administer relocation expense reimbursements from your employees and process regular payments to suppliers such as utilities, rents, storage fees, school term fees and relocation allowances.
Our service covers tracking, auditing and reconciliation the expense reports against policy. We can make global payments in local currency and provide a complete audit trail.
