Considering the rapidly escalating events, we wanted to contact you and update you on the current situation in the UK.
As we are all facing the impacts of COVID-19, the UK Government has implemented very strict rules and regulations around working and movements. Everyone has been instructed to ‘Stay at Home’ to stop the spread of the virus in the UK.
In view of these instructions and the safety and wellbeing of all our staff, customers, friends and family we have taken the following steps:
1.All our office-based teams are now working from home with full connectivity. They continue to support all requests, moves/relocations in progress throughout the world and to provide advisory services.
2.We continue to carry out pre-move surveys via our virtual survey service, which can be scheduled via our website or directly with one of our team.
3.As of 18.00 GMT on the 25th March 2020, we are suspending all field based moving operations, packing and delivery services until further notice.
4.Currently our warehouse will remain open periodically to receive, when possible, for shipments currently in transit from overseas. The availability of this service will be in accordance with Government instructions and legislation and importantly our ability to ensure the safety of our staff.
The situation in the UK is subject to change without notice, we will continue monitoring the advice and guidelines for updates and new information, then report these when available.
The UK Government has advised they will be reviewing its guidance in 3 weeks.
Any customers or agent partners with a move scheduled and requiring packing or delivery over the coming 3 weeks will be contacted to reschedule.
Our relocation management teams are still fully operational and working remotely. We can provide quotations, advisory and conduct coordination services.
New initiations and bookings are being taken for moves and relocations scheduled for completion after this 3-week period. Kindly note bookings may be subject to change nearer the time.
