Gerson Relocation Raising Money for Sport Relief
Those friendly people at Gerson Relocation, the international moving and relocation company, have been raising money for Sport Relief.
With most of our staff having worked here for over 15 years, we have built a strong team spirit with a healthy dose of good natured competitiveness.
So when it came to finding a way to raise money for a good cause, it felt only natural to have an honest Gerson Tug of War competition.
It’s a Tug of Love not War
Although we are usually used to pulling in the same direction, we split into four teams and prepared to do battle. Close friends became rivals and teams gathered to quietly talk about team tactics and what could be a winning tugging strategy.
Fair play
On the day, some of the more advanced “tuggers” came prepared sporting “specialist” gloves, whilst others had quite obviously forgotten their team training sessions and turned up in normal work wear.
It mattered not though, what really mattered was that we had no drop outs on the day. After all, there was a bevvy of gold coloured medals at stake for the winning team members. In our eyes there was everything to play for!
Put your game face on
Our very own Laura Robinson took on the role of adjudicator and the first round was under way. The teams tugged it out, vying for those illusive gold coloured medals and to increase charitable donations.
