So, when our management team came across an interesting article a few weeks ago, we wanted to share it and discuss in on our corporate moving blog.
According to survey results recently published in the article global mobility is going through significant changes this year, with 56% of all multinational companies being surveyed in an industry poll expecting to see an increase in their short-term assignments during 2016.
This will result in an increase in the use of human capital management, and at Gerson Relocation our long-standing expertise as an international moving company will be in even greater demand.
It’s worth noting that the survey results also highlighted increases in permanent transfers in the global mobility market, as well as rises in demand for developmental training assignments and traditional long-term assignments. This is all positive news for the global relocation sector in 2016.
We would add that as global mobility is going through changes in the way policy is being delivered, and the changes that are being seen in the type of assignments being requested in the marketplace, it’s worth reviewing company policies to see how you’re dealing with these changes in 2016.
