Niall Mackay, Gerson Relocation Managing Director was unfortunately diagnosed with pancreatic cancer towards the end of July this year.
Since then he has been at home awaiting the start of chemotherapy. On Tuesday 22nd August, we received a call from his wife Jenny, to say that his condition had very quickly worsened and with great sadness our friend and colleague Niall, passed away that morning.
This has been a great shock to all his colleagues at Gerson Relocation and of course all our thoughts and prayers go out to Jenny, Callum and Georgia during the weeks and months ahead.
We will miss his bubbly personality and sense of humour, also his warm friendship and passion for the industry.
With regards to the funeral arrangements, we are able to advise that the service will be held on Weds 30th August at 4.00pm at St Nicholas Church in Cublington, (opposite the Unicorn where attendees will be invited to go after the service), postcode LU7 0LQ. For those planning to attend, please could you advise Chris Mackley (Chris.Mackley@gersonrelocation.com). Instead of flowers, the family have asked for donations to be made to a pancreatic cancer charity and we will provide details of this as soon as is possible.
