Brexit To Have Little Impact On Talent Retention In London According To Employment Survey

The global mobility team at Gerson Relocation came across a useful post-Brexit article this week, and we thought it was worth discussing further.

The article – which can be read in full here – highlights that following on from the EU Referendum, many British businesses recently surveyed by leading employment online portal www.totaljobs.com believe that Brexit will have little impact on talent retention in London in coming years for key employees.

As leading experts in the field of global mobility and human capital management, we find this vote of confidence in the ability of companies to retain their top talent extremely encouraging.

What’s become clear to us in our recent dealings with corporate relocation clients in London, across the UK, and into expanding and popular relocation territories abroad, is that confidence remains high in businesses to keep hold of their valued employees with the best mix of talent and drive.

Far from the British business world ending after Brexit, according to some media reports, we’ve seen that there’s been no catastrophic impact, no huge shift in staff abroad, no drop in stock price for big firms – just business as usual in the capital and wider commercial arenas, as the survey confirms.

Effective mobility solutions must centre around the biggest asset any company has – employees. And when it comes to team relocations, post-Brexit the same considerations for retaining key talent still exist: moving any employee or groups of employees internally to other offices within London or across the UK – or, indeed, across the world – requires a relocation company that can helpfully.

We’ve been carefully monitoring the post-Brexit feedback from our clients and in the media generally, to ensure that we’re as well-informed as possible when it comes to advising on employee retention, relocations and relocation companies in London that can meet all your requirements.

We recommend that to get a balanced view of post-Brexit sentiments in business, the article and survey results are a welcome piece of reading. See more here.
