This festive season, Gerson Relocation is partnering with Kids in Mind on Project Angel by inviting companies and individuals to bring joy to even more children who have faced unimaginable hardship.

Kids in Mind is a UK charity that provides vital mental health support for children and young people who have escaped domestic violence and are living in women’s refuges. The charity delivers six core services designed to help children process trauma and build resilience, including play, art, and music therapy, mindfulness activities, and innovative tools such as the Comfort Bear to support emotional regulation. By also involving mothers in the process, Kids in Mind strengthens family connections and helps create safe, supportive environments where children can begin to heal. Their mission is to fill a critical gap in refuge provision, offering essential care, coping strategies, and hope for brighter futures.

Project Angel is the festive gift-giving campaign of the UK charity Kids in Mind, designed to bring joy to children and young people who have fled domestic violence and are living in women’s refuges. Each Christmas, generous companies and individuals participate by selecting “Angel” tags—featuring wish lists—and delivering gifts either from the traditional toy appeal or via an online shop or Amazon Wishlist. Last year, this initiative resulted in more than 3,500 bespoke toy boxes (each with eight brand-new toys) being delivered, illuminating deeply meaningful moments for children who might otherwise have received nothing during the holidays
